BFS was the right man at the time he was hired...

Got promotion in his first season...albeit in the Playoffs after a major slide post Xmas ...when w were in automatic promotion for most of the time before that,...

We have all seen his limitations...

It's time to say...thanks ...and move on with a better manager...

I'm not "whinging about nothing..." and you chose to ignore the answer I gave to your question. Your question was why players like Sakho and Valencia were played when they had the wrong agent? I replied that SA could hardly drop them but he did regularly sub them.

Then you said "The fact that you have said your view is that of a conspiracy theory tells me all I need to know about you Willtell." Now you say you didn't insult me. Well you don't need to be a genius to work out that you were being insulting and add liar to that now.

You miss the point anyway. Just because players with the right agent may get preferential treatment, doesn't by definition mean that some players, like Sakho and Valencia with different agents, get unfavourable treatment. Certainly the likes of Amalfitano, Zarate, Nene, Poyet and others do appear to get unfavourable treatment...

And btw - A conspiracy theory is an explanatory proposition that accuses two or more persons, a group, or an organization of having caused or covered up, through secret planning and deliberate action, an illegal or harmful event or situation..

It does not automatically mean it is a looney conspiracy theory which you are obviously confused by. Perhaps English isn't your first language....

As soon as Nolan gets that 100th goal he'll become a bit part player and you'll see Sam playing those youngsters to give them a taste of it.

Meanwhile in the real world......

Well of course it's easy to mock conspiracy theories but SA cannot drop Sakho and Valencia but he is quick to sub them. So how else does it work that Kevin Nolan plays shit week in and week out yet plays?

How is it that Downing gets picked for England for his successful performances at the point of the diamond so gets played on the wing week in and week out so Kev can [play at the point of the diamond?

How does Jarvis suddenly get back in the team? Playing good for the reserves was he yet Poyet and others don't get a look in.... How's that work then Trev?

makes you wonder how the likes of sakho, valencia and many others manage to play week in week out when they apparently dont have the right agent?

All true. I am not arguing that. My point is that the players that have come on lately have not done enough to pressure Sam into dropping Nolan. Not saying he would drop him if they did but it would make the situation even more untenable than it is.

You have to agree that none of the attacking players have done enough to change the game when they have come on lately. They have been going through the motions.

I'm not so sure Nicey is so far off the mark with his comments. How else other than favouritism for his agent's (Mark Curtis) clients.

Ravel Morrison and several other WH players were enrolled by Curtis after SA became manager. Ravel went public and it was denied much like all of SA's corruption charges.

Jarvis happens to have Mark Curtis as an agent and so out of the blue he gets to suddenly start playing again while really skilful players like Ravel and Zarate have moved on. Yes Ravel and Zarate are probably emotional types that need careful handling. SA's brusque manner would never work with them but they are far more skilled than most and actually made a difference to games yet always got side-lined.

It seems to me that SA is a bully that only respects those that keep following his orders to the letter and always accept whatever he hands out. This is why he rarely makes the expected substitutions imo. He is thinking if they do well it shows up his team selection and he will have to keep them playing as Managers' rules dictate that if you come on and do well you get another chance. Best not bring on someone that might keep Kev out....

That's why even good youngsters don't play and why some players break ranks and complain about his ignoring them etc and others back him to the hilt. It's the way bullying dictators work...

I hope we get a proper manager that will work with all members of the squad soon...
